My name is Michelle, I am an alcoholic & drug addict. I have been sober/clean since Jan 19, 1995. In 
1976 I started experimenting with drugs and alcohol...in the 80's I started using cocaine. 1985 I was arrested for trafficking cocaine, receiving a 3 yr min. mandatory 3 yrs. Dec of 1985 I was saved and baptized. I did 16 months in prison. In 1988 I started using crack, by 1991 I was back in jail giving up custody of my 3 yr old daughter. In 4 years I had lost everything. I was unemployable, turned to prostitution to support my habit. There were many arrests and days that I wished for death. I certainly did not think that God would want me much less anyone else. My last trip to prison ended with me going to a rehab center. I was bound and determined to change my life, I no longer wanted to die. I completed a 6-9 mth program in 4 months and have not found it necessary to go back out. I have gone from drug addict/prostitute to the financial mgr of a successful business. I have been employed at the same job for 22 years. Without God in my life I never would have been able to do this.
